How it Works:

I visit university campuses thoughout the Pacific Northwest about three times a year. I meet professors in their offices and introduce my service. Usually professors point me to a stack of unused textbooks taking up precious space on their bookshelf.

Using a hand held scanner with an extensive database of books with resale value, I scan the barcodes. If any register, a purchase price is given and this price is then offered to the professor.

When re-visiting a university I email past customers to inform them of my upcoming visit. This gives them time to identify the books they would like to sell. An email response confirms the days and times the professor is in office.

Professors that initiate contact to request an appointment are paid an extra 20% for their books.

All contact records kept are for my use only and are never given out to anyone else.

I most commonly pay cash for any books I purchase, however, on request, I will write a cheque to an organization of the professor's choice. Click here for a short list of worthy organizations.
